FAQ
How does a treatment work?

Saypha® injectable treatments are non-surgical, granting minimal recovery time and ensuring immediate, natural-looking results. Depending on your skin and individual wishes, the practitioner will choose the most suitable product from the Princess® range to meet your needs and expectations. Due to the resemblance of the hyaluronic acid used in Princess® to the naturally occurring substance in the human body, no preliminary allergy testing is necessary. The procedure is quick and easy. The injections themselves may only take about 15 to 30 minutes. You will be able to return to your daily activities immediately afterwards.

Is the treatment painful?

The injections are done with very fine needles and are usually pain free. Subject to the treated area and your sensitivity, an anaesthetic cream or block can be applied before the procedure.

What are possible side-effects?

Thanks to the high safety profile and tolerance of Saypha® gels in the skin, you will be typically able to return to daily activities instantly after the aesthetic treatment. However, you may experience some post-treatment discomfort such as temporary tenderness, redness, swelling or bruising on the injected area. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and disappear on their own in less than 7 days. You can apply an ice pack for a brief period on the injection site to help soothe any swelling.

How long will the result last?

The results of an aesthetic treatment with Saypha® Fillers are long lasting, but not permanent. Depending on the product used, the injection area treated and the individual dispositions of your skin, the results can last for several months up to a year.

Are there any recommendations?

In order to reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site, avoid any medications such as anti–coagulants and anti–inflammatories, that can prolong bleeding, the week before receiving the treatment. After the injection you should not apply any make-up for 12 hours and avoid sunbathing or high temperatures for one week. Ask your healthcare professional what he or she recommends.

Are there any exclusion criteria?

Treatments with Saypha® must not be used for:

  • patients who tend to develop hypertrophic scarring
  • patients with a history of auto–immune disease or who are receiving immune therapy
  • patients who are known to be hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid
  • women who are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • areas presenting cutaneous, inflammatory or infectious processes
